Consistent quality

All materials for the order are tested by an internationally recognized laboratory (Bureau Veritas) according to EU requirements and the customer’s test protocol (if any).

Each order is carefully checked during production. Before release for dispatch, the order is subjected to a thorough quality check and then shipped with a recognized shipping company.

All leather skins are tanned according to LWG (Leather Working Group) standards. Several indicators are checked here: chemical protocols, registered chemicals from recognized brands, waste and water management, pollution prevention.

Luma Leather’s tanneries are ”Gold Rated”, the highest standard.

With LWG standards as a starting point, Luma Leather operates with a high focus on sustainability and the manufacturer’s working environment.

All production facilities are SA8000 certified.

Each product is subject to a thorough quality check before leaving our production ensuring that each product you receive in your warehouse is ready to ship directly to the end-client.

The products we make are tanned according to LWG ( Leather Working Group) standards.

The related tannery has is Silver rated which means, they are checked on a lot of points: re-management / chemicals protocols / chemicals needs to be registered and needs to be from recognized brands /  waste management / pollution avoiding / water management.

Due to the standards of LWG we work in a very sustainable way with attention for the environment at the production locations as well as decent labour policy.

Besides this, the assembling parts is certificated with SA8000-2014.
